Well, folks, Ezekiel 4 is not letting up. Ezekiel is still in exile in Babylon and he's still being asked to do some pretty weird stuff. This time God tells him to draw a picture of Jerusalem being destroyed and then put it on a clay tablet and lay on his side for 390 days. Just to really drive the point home, he's also instructed to not eat bread made with yeast. So, basically, Ezekiel is living a pretty miserable life at this point. He's being asked to illustrate the destruction of his homeland and he has to do it while starving on a clay tablet. It's a pretty tough gig.
