Peter: Alright, so, the Bible chapter for today is Nehemiah 2.

Lois: Ooh, what's it about?

Peter: Well, it's about Nehemiah going to the king and asking permission to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. The king grants him permission, and supplies him with a bunch of materials.

Brian: So, it's like the episode of Friends where Ross has to build the giant ice sculpture for the museum?

Peter: Yeah, kinda like that, only with far more destruction and a lot less laughs. Anyway, Nehemiah then sets out to rebuild the wall, and encourages the people of the city to help him.

Lois: Wow, that sounds like a lot of work.

Peter: Yeah, but Nehemiah was up to the task. He worked hard, and eventually the wall was rebuilt.

Brian: Just like how I rebuilt my car after I accidentally drove it into a tree?

Peter: Sure, Brian, if you want to compare it to that. Anyway, the people of the city were so inspired by Nehemiah's work that they all worked together to finish the wall in just fifty-two days.

Lois: That's amazing!

Peter: Yeah, it really was.

Brian: I guess this proves that teamwork really does make the dream work, just like that old saying says. Or, as I like to call it, the "Avengers Assemble" principle.
