Peter: Alright, so in the book of Ruth, chapter 4, we got this guy named Boaz who's kinda like the superhero of the story. He's like a modern-day Thor, but without the hammer. He's out there, taking on all the bad guys and saving the day.

Meg: Yeah, so basically what happens is Boaz goes to this local judge, and he basically tells him that he's got Ruth's back, and he's gonna make sure she's taken care of. So, the judge basically agrees, and Boaz marries Ruth and they live happily ever after.

Lois: Hey, wait a minute. What about that other guy, Elimelech?

Chris: Yeah, he was the one who was like, "Hey, I'm gonna take my wife and kids and go to a foreign land cuz it's dangerous here!"

Peter: Ah, yes, Elimelech. Well, it turns out that Elimelech's relatives actually have the right to redeem Ruth, so Boaz buys the land from them and gives it to Ruth and her new husband. So, everyone's happy and Boaz is like a hero.

Brian: And they all lived happily ever after, just like in a Disney movie!
