Contestant: "Oh, it's relevant! In Ruth 4, Boaz redeems Ruth and marries her. Boaz is a relative of Naomi, Ruth's mother-in-law, so he redeems her by buying back her land and marrying her. This way, Ruth can continue to stay in Naomi's family and the family line can continue. Boaz and Ruth have a son named Obed, who eventually becomes the grandfather of King David."
