Listen up! This is 2 Samuel 15! It's a sad time in Israel. King David's son Absalom has taken over the kingdom, and David has to flee from Jerusalem. David's servants and supporters follow him, even though it means leaving their families behind. David cries and prays for his son's return, but it's no use. Absalom is on a mission to take control. David's loyal friend, Ittai, joins him on his journey, along with a group of people from the tribe of Judah. They make it to the Jordan River, and David sends his people across before crossing himself. He then prays for God's protection and mercy. That's it for 2 Samuel 15!
