"Listen up! Chapter 28 of Jeremiah is about a prophet called Hananiah who's making false prophecies and trying to mislead the people. He's promising that the Babylonians will be defeated and the people of Israel will be free. He's lying, and Jeremiah's there to call him out on it. Jeremiah says that Hananiah will be dead within two years and that the Babylonians won't be defeated until seventy years have passed. He also says that if Hananiah's prophecy is true, God will make a yoke out of iron and put it on his neck. Guess what? Hananiah dies two years later, just like Jeremiah said. So don't listen to false prophets, listen to the Word of God. Got it? Good!"
