Listen, Jack, c'mon man, here's the deal. Leviticus 24 is about God's instructions for how the Israelites should live. Folks, you ain't gonna believe this, but it literally says that the bread that was used to make the offerings in the tabernacle has to be made from the finest flour. My father used to say, you gotta use the best ingredients when you're making something for the Lord. I'm not joking, see here, Jack, it also says that the oil used for the lamps in the tabernacle has to be made from pure olives. What was that? Oh yeah, and it also says that the incense in the tabernacle has to be made from the sweetest spices. Or uh, you know, it talks about how the Israelites should make offerings to the Lord. Not gonna happen that they don't follow the Lord's instructions. I tell you what, if they don't follow the Lord's instructions, then they gotta be punished. Excuse me, but it says that the punishment can be anything from being fined to being put to death. No malarkey!
