Norm here, and it's time for a deep dive into the Bible - specifically Nehemiah 9!

In this chapter, we've got a bunch of people gathering together in Jerusalem to confess their sins. They start off by praising the Lord and His covenant with the Israelites, but then the Israelites start to complain about all the evil things they've done. They list off all their sins and their history of disobedience to God, so it's a real pity party.

But then they turn it around and start to talk about how great God is. They describe all the ways God has been good to them and how He has kept His promises to them. They acknowledge that all their suffering is due to their own disobedience to God, and they agree to follow Him faithfully from now on.

So there you have it. Nehemiah 9: a lot of complaining, a lot of praising God, and a whole lot of promises. So if you're in need of a guilt trip, this might just be the chapter for you!
