Well, folks, it's been a long time comin', but Nehemiah got the call to action he's been waiting for. He heard the news that his people, the Jews, were in a bad spot. So Nehemiah spent a few days in prayer, asking God to give him the strength to do what he knew he must do—go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the walls. After fasting and crying out to God, Nehemiah got his wish and was given the go-ahead to head back to his homeland and make things right. He arrived to find a city in a state of disrepair, but thanks to his leadership and the hard work of the people of Jerusalem, the walls were rebuilt in a record 52 days! That's gotta be some kind of record, folks!
