Hey, it's Norm, and I'm here to tell you about Job 8. So, Bildad the Shuhite tries to give Job a little pep talk, telling him that he should just move on from his whole misery and suffering situation and just turn back to God. He's basically like “Cheer up, Job!” But Job's not having it, and he's like “Oh yeah, like it's that easy?” And Bildad responds with a whole bunch of references to how God punishes the wicked and blesses the righteous, and how Job's children were wicked and that's why they died. Job's not impressed, and tells Bildad to go shove his advice. So, moral of the story? Don't give unsolicited advice.
