Well, folks, it's time for Old Testament Update. This week we've got 1 Kings 15. In this chapter, we meet King Abijam of Judah, who's described as walking "not wholly" in the Lord's ways. Translation: he's a bit of a sinner. His son Asa succeeds him and does better, being praised for going "wholly" in the Lord's ways. But then Asa makes a deal with Aram, and the Lord isn't too pleased. We also meet Nadab, son of Jeroboam, who becomes king of Israel. But he isn't too successful, and is eventually killed by Baasha. And that's 1 Kings 15 - a chapter about kings and their occasional failures.
