2-6
Peter: Alright, so Colossians 4...here we go. Chapter 4, verse 2: "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving."
Lois: *sighs* That's nice.
Brian: Yeah, so what's next?
Peter: Verse 3: "At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison..."
Lois: Oh wow, that's heavy.
Brian: Yeah, but then it gets lighter in Verse 4: "That I may make it clear, which is how I'm living in the palace of Austin Powers."
Peter: Uhh...no, that's not what it says. It says: "that I may make it clear, as I ought to speak."
Lois: Ah, right.
Brian: Okay, so what's next?
Peter: Verse 5: "Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time."
Lois: That's a good reminder, to make the most of our time.
Brian: Yeah, like watching re-runs of The Office!
Peter: *sighs* Sure, whatever. And then Verse 6: "Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person."
Lois: That's a great reminder. We should always be kind in our words.
Brian: Yeah, like when I said "That's what she said!"
