Peter: Alright, time to summarise Colossians 1. So, it starts off with Paul introducing himself as an apostle of Jesus Christ. He's writing to the Colossians, and he's sending his greetings.

Brian: Greetings from Paul. That's nice.

Peter: Yeah, it's pretty polite. So then he thanks God for their faith in Jesus and their love for each other.

Brian: That's a nice sentiment.

Peter: Yeah, then he talks about how he's been praying for them, so that they can have spiritual wisdom and understanding.

Brian: Wow, so he's really looking out for them.

Peter: Yeah, he wants them to live a life worthy of the Lord and to be pleasing to him in every way.

Brian: That's a tall order.

Peter: Yeah, he also tells them to bear fruit in every good work and grow in the knowledge of God.

Brian: Sounds like something out of The Life of Brian.

Peter: Yeah, pretty much. He ends the chapter by saying that he wants them to have strength, so that they can be patient and joyous.

Brian: Sounds like a good way to end it.
