Peter: Alright, so 1 Timothy 3. That's like the one where they talk about how they should be good church leaders, right?
Lois: Yes, that's right, Peter. So, it starts off by saying that if someone wants to be a church leader, they must be of good character, be faithful in marriage, and be able to manage their own household well.
Brian: Oh, so like the opposite of Donald Trump then?
Stewie: Oh, Brian, please, enough with the political jabs. Anyways, the chapter goes on to explain that the church leader should be a good example to others, be hospitable, and be able to teach.
Peter: Wow, that's a lot of requirements.
Lois: Yeah, it sure is. It also says that they should not be greedy or a drunkard, and that they should not be violent or quarrelsome.
Stewie: Yeah, and they should be someone who is gentle and not quarrelsome.
Brian: So, basically, no one who watches Fox News?
Peter: Ha ha, okay, okay, that's enough. Anyways, the chapter also talks about how the church leader should be tested before being appointed.
Lois: That makes sense. And it also says that the church leader should be respected and be free from any accusations.
Stewie: Right, and the chapter ends by saying that the church leader should have a good reputation with outsiders, so that they won't bring shame on the church.
Brian: Well, that sure is a lot to keep in mind when looking for a church leader.
