Robin: Holy smokes, Batman! It looks like something strange is going on in the Bible!

Batman: That's right, Robin. In Acts 5, we find out an interesting story about a couple named Ananias and Sapphira.

Catwoman: What did they do?

Batman: Well, Ananias and Sapphira sold some of their property and gave the proceeds to the apostles. But they lied and said they had given more money than they actually had.

Robin: So what happened to them?

Batman: God was not pleased with their dishonesty and he struck Ananias down dead. Sapphira later suffered the same fate.

Riddler: What a strange story! What did the other people do?

Batman: Everyone was terrified and the news of this spread throughout the city. People became very afraid and began to bring their offerings to the apostles out of fear.
