Folks, here's the deal with John 8. Jesus is hangin' out in the Temple, and the religious leaders come to him and say, "Hey, we got this woman who was caught in adultery. The law says we should stone her. What do you say? C'mon, man!" So Jesus, he's like, "Listen, Jack, let's take a step back here. Anyone here who is without sin can throw the first stone." And the religious leaders all scatter. See here, Jack, Jesus is literally the King of Forgiveness. So then the woman comes up to Jesus and he says, "Go and sin no more," and that's that. My father used to say, "Actions have consequences," and Jesus is making that clear. I'm not joking.

But then the religious leaders come back, and they ask Jesus, "What was that? Who are you?" And Jesus says, "Oh, I'm the light of the world." And they're like, "Uh, excuse me? That's blasphemy." But Jesus doesn't back down. He says, "I'm telling you the truth. I'm here to testify to the truth. It's not gonna happen that you can take away my truth." I tell you what, Jesus was brave and courageous. He knew the truth and he wasn't afraid to share it. No malarkey.
