Alright, folks, so next up we've got John 8. We start off with the famous story of Jesus and the woman caught in adultery. Jesus is chillin' in the Temple courts when the scribes and Pharisees bring the woman to him. They want to stone her, but Jesus isn't having it. He says "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone," and one by one they all back off.

But Jesus isn't done. He tells the woman "Go, and sin no more." So, yeah, Jesus isn't just about forgiving sins, he's about not committing them in the first place.

Then Jesus goes on to talk about his identity, and says some pretty controversial stuff. He claims he's the Light of the World and that anyone who follows him will never walk in darkness.

Oh, and Jesus also says he's the only way to the Father. This may not go over well with some people, but Jesus is pretty clear on this point.

Anyway, that's John 8. Jesus is all about mercy, but he also knows who he is and what he's here to do.
