Folks, c'mon man, see here, Jack, I tell you what--my father used to say that the Bible was an important source of knowledge, and I'm not joking. Well, 1 Chronicles chapter 26 is literally a testament to that. Here's the deal: In the time of David, they set up divisions of gatekeepers, treasurers, and other roles to help the city run smoothly. Ah, and they even had divisions to help with the temple. Not gonna happen that we could have something like that today, I'll tell you that. Uh, but back in the day, these divisions had very specific responsibilities, like distributing the tithes or keeping records of the people. So, excuse me, what was that, you know, the moral of the story here? Well, it's that when it comes to organization, God knows what He's doing! No malarkey!
