Batman: Greetings, faithful citizens of Gotham! We have a task to attend to!

Robin: What is it, Batman?

Batman: We must investigate the book of Leviticus, chapter 3!

Joker: What's that, Batman? Some kind of Bible book?

Batman: It is, Joker. Leviticus 3 contains God's instructions to the Israelites regarding the peace offering.

Catwoman: What kind of offering?

Batman: A peace offering is a sacrifice in which an animal is offered to God in thanksgiving or to atone for sins.

Riddler: What type of animal must be offered?

Batman: According to Leviticus 3, any animal can be offered, but it must be without defect and the best of its kind.

Penguin: What must be done with the animal?

Batman: The animal must be killed and its blood must be sprinkled on the altar. The fat and some of the internal organs of the animal must then be burned on the altar as a burnt offering to God.

Robin: What happens next?

Batman: The remainder of the animal is to be eaten by the priests in a sacred place. The offering is a way for the Israelites to show their devotion to God.

Joker: That's a lot of work for a little bit of thanks!

Batman: Indeed, Joker. But the Lord's instructions must be followed.
