Batman: Greetings, Robin! It appears our trusted ally, Joshua, has called an assembly of all the people in the land of Canaan!

Robin: Holy assembly, Batman! What does Joshua have in store for them?

Batman: Well, Robin. Joshua called the assembly to remind the people of the Lord's faithfulness to them and to encourage them to remain loyal to Him. He reminded them of all the Lord had done for them, from rescuing them from slavery in Egypt to leading them through the wilderness, and bringing them to the land of Canaan.

Joker: Oh, come on, Joshua! Haven't they learned their lesson yet?

Batman: Silence, Joker! Joshua then asked the people to choose whom they would serve: the gods of their ancestors or the Lord.

Robin: What did they choose, Batman?

Batman: The people answered that they would serve the Lord, and Joshua made a covenant with them to that effect. He then wrote down the terms of the covenant and set up a stone as a reminder of what they had promised.

Catwoman: How boring!

Batman: On the contrary, Catwoman, it is a reminder of God's faithfulness and a promise to remain loyal to Him.
