Batman: "Greetings, Robin! We've arrived at the chapter of Joshua, chapter 16. It appears to be a very important chapter in the Bible, as it outlines the land that was to be divided among the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, the two sons of Joseph."
Robin: "Holy Moses, Batman! What else does it say?"
Batman: "Well, Robin, it states that the boundary of the two tribes stretched from the border of the tribe of Ephraim in the north to the border of the tribe of Manasseh in the south. It also states that the towns that were given to the two tribes were Beth-shean and its villages, Taanach and its villages, and the people of Dor and its villages."
Riddler: "What about the other tribes? What did they get?"
Batman: "Ah, the Riddler, always asking the important questions! It's true, there were other tribes that were given land, such as the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and Dan. All of these tribes were given their own land, and the boundaries of their territory were outlined in the chapter as well."
Catwoman: "And what about the people of Gibeon? What did they get?"
Batman: "Ah, my feline friend, the people of Gibeon were given a rather unique deal. Rather than being given a set of land, they were given a covenant of peace and friendship with the other tribes. This covenant ensured that the people of Gibeon would not be harmed by the other tribes, and that they would be able to live in peace."
