Okay, so in Zephaniah 2, the Lord seems to be pretty mad. He's telling all the nations to get in line and accept their impending doom. He's mad at all the Philistines, who, if you know your Bible, were a pretty rowdy bunch. He's mad at the Moabites and the Ammonites and the Ethiopians, who were all just living their lives, minding their own business, so it seems a little harsh. The Lord is also mad at the people of Nineveh and Assyria, who were just trying to make a living. He's really mad at all of these people, saying that he's gonna punish them for all their sins. He's gonna send a fire and a sword and a tempest, and the people won't be able to stop it. Seems like the Lord's got a real temper on him.
