Hey, did you know that the Bible is full of totally wild stuff? Well, Ecclesiastes 10 is no exception. It starts off with this, like, totally bizarre metaphor about a dead fly screwing up a whole pot of ointment. And it just goes off from there. We get a suite of proverbs about how people should be careful cause, like, everyone screws up sometimes, but rulers should be extra careful cause if they screw up, everyone else is in trouble. We also get a reminder that money isn't everything - it can't buy you wisdom or good advice. And then we get a reminder that a wise person can be very effective, even if they just say a few words. Not bad for a single chapter!
