Well, folks, it's been another wild ride in the Bible this week. This time, it's 2 Chronicles 31. First off, God's people have a big problem: they've completely forgotten about Him and are worshipping idols instead. So, King Hezekiah has a plan. He gets rid of all the idols and tells everyone to start worshipping God again. Big success, everybody's happy. But then, it's time to pay the piper, so to speak. Hezekiah and the people have to pay a tithe to the temple. So, they start collecting all kinds of things, from money to food to animals. And they start offering sacrifices to God, too. Then, they have a huge feast to celebrate. And all's well that ends well, right? Not quite. Hezekiah still has to deal with the Philistines, who want to take over the land. But, with God's help, Hezekiah and his people are able to push them back and live in peace. So, there you have it, folks. Another chapter in the Bible, another victory for God's people.
