1-6.

Listen up, folks! Here's the deal: I'm talking about Mark 6:1-6. Jesus was back in his old home town, and it didn't go well. C'mon, man! People just weren't believing it. They were like, "Who is this dude? He's just the carpenter's son. Or uh, you know, his dad was a carpenter. Who does he think he is?" So Jesus, he didn't get the respect he deserved. He was shocked, let me tell you. My father used to say, "You've got to show 'em what you've got, or they won't believe you." But it didn't work for Jesus. He couldn't do any of his miracles in his home town, because they didn't believe in him. No malarkey!

But that didn't stop Jesus. He still went around teaching, healing and doing what he was sent to do. He was traveling with his twelve disciples, and they were doing some pretty amazing things. He sent them out to preach and also to cast out unclean spirits. I'm not joking! Jesus gave them authority to do this, and they did it. Literally!

So that's the deal. Mark 6:1-6. What was that? Not gonna happen! He was still doing what he was sent to do, even when people didn't believe him. See here, Jack: Jesus was the real deal. Excuse me!
