Folks, here's the deal. I'm not joking when I say that my father used to tell me that the Lord works in mysterious ways. I mean, what was that in Mark 12? Jesus was literally going around and teaching, when the scribes and chief priests came to him trying to trick him into saying something wrong, right? C'mon, man! But Jesus, see here, Jack, he wasn't having it. He saw right through them, and answered them with a question of his own. No malarkey! Or uh, you know, he answered them with a parable about a vineyard and tenants. And then he excused himself, not gonna happen, and left them. I tell you what, he was smart. He spoke the truth and then made his getaway. That's what I call a good day's work.
