Folks, here's the deal: Mark 16 is a real humdinger. See here, Jack, it starts off with three women at the tomb after Jesus had died. My father used to say, "Where there's life there's hope," and that's what these women felt when they went to the tomb. They found it empty and an angel told them Jesus had risen from the dead. C'mon man, that's like something out of a movie. Literally, Jesus had come back from the dead! No malarkey!

So then Jesus appeared to the women and told them to tell the disciples the good news. They were so excited they ran off to tell everyone, but some of the people didn't believe them. What was that? Or uh, you know, they thought they were just seeing things. I'm not joking, folks, they were so excited they even forgot to tell Jesus "hello."

Then after that Jesus appeared to the disciples and told them to go out and spread the good news. He gave them the power to heal the sick and to cast out demons. Excuse me, but can you imagine that? Then Jesus ascended into heaven and the disciples went out and preached the gospel throughout the world.

I tell you what, folks, no one would have believed it if they hadn't seen it with their own eyes. That's why it's so important to remember Jesus's story. Not gonna happen that Jesus should be forgotten. That's the message of Mark 16.
