Hey folks, it's Norm MacDonald here with the latest from Mark 12. Jesus was back at it, giving parables and answering questions from the people. He told the people a parable about a vineyard that someone leased to tenants, but when the owner sent servants to collect his share of the harvest, the tenants beat them up and even killed some of them. →

Joe: Alright, so here we have Bible Expert, and we're discussing the Gospel of Mark, chapter 12. What can you tell us about it? Bible Expert: Well, this chapter is all about Jesus teaching and preaching the gospel in the Temple. →

Alex Trebek: Alright, so tell me a bit about yourself. Contestant: Well, I thought I'd tell you a bit about the Bible! Specifically, I wanted to tell you about the book of Mark, chapter 12. Alex Trebek: [Sighing] Okay, I guess we can talk about the Bible. →

Mark 12: Jesus is challenged by the religious leaders, teaches about the Greatest Commandment, tells the parable of the tenants, and explains the resurrection of the dead. Listen up, maggots! Chapter 12 of Mark's Gospel is all about Jesus getting challenged by the religious leaders. →

Folks, here's the deal. I'm not joking when I say that my father used to tell me that the Lord works in mysterious ways. I mean, what was that in Mark 12? Jesus was literally going around and teaching, when the scribes and chief priests came to him trying to trick him into saying something wrong, right? C'mon, man! But Jesus, see here, Jack, he wasn't having it. →

Jesus is amazing, and he had some terrific teachings that are still relevant today. Take Mark 12 for example: Jesus is asked about the most important commandment, and he gives a bigly answer. He says, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. →

Peter: Alright, so Mark 12 starts out with Jesus teaching in the temple and talking about the importance of paying taxes. He then answers a question about the resurrection from the Sadducees. Lois: But wait, isn't Sadducees like the Hogwarts house no one likes? →
