Joe: Alright, welcome back to the show. We have a special guest today, a Bible Expert, who is here to help us understand the Bible a bit better. So, what's the chapter we're looking at today?

Bible Expert: We are looking at Mark 6.

Joe: Alright. Let's dive in. So what can you tell us about it?

Bible Expert: Well, Mark 6 is about Jesus returning to his hometown and teaching in the synagogue. He starts by healing many people and then he begins to preach to the people. His message is met with disbelief from the townspeople and they reject him.

Joe: Wow. That's pretty wild. So, what happens after that?

Bible Expert: After that, Jesus sends his disciples out in pairs to preach and heal. They go out and do great work, even casting out demons. Jesus then feeds the five thousand with just five loaves of bread and two fish.

Joe: Wait, wait. That's impossible. How'd he do that?

Bible Expert: It was a miracle.

Joe: Yeah, but is that even scientifically possible? Jamie, get on Google and see what you can find out.

Jamie: (typing away) Okay, Joe, it looks like it's possible. There have been a few scientific studies done on this and it's possible to feed a large group of people with a surprisingly small amount of food.

Joe: Alright, so what else happens in this chapter?

Bible Expert: After the miracle of the loaves and fishes, Jesus sends the disciples out to cross the sea. They get caught in a storm, but Jesus comes to their rescue and calms the sea.
