Alright, alright, alright, it's time for this week's chapter of the Bible. We've got 2 Corinthians 8. In it, Paul urges the Church of Corinth to give generously to the poor. He uses the Macedonians as an example, showing the Corinthians that despite their own poverty, they gave freely. He encourages them to be "eager to give" and to give as much as they can. But he also cautions them to not give out of compulsion or obligation, but out of love. In the end, Paul wants the Corinthians to understand that giving to the poor is an act of worship. So, don't be a tightwad, Corinthians, give like you mean it!
