Alex Trebek: So, what is something you've been working on lately?

Contestant: Well, I've been studying the Bible, and I think I can summarize 2 Corinthians 8 for you.

Alex Trebek: Oh, that's great...Um, so tell me about your hometown?

Contestant: Well, 2 Corinthians 8 is about how the churches in Macedonia gave a generous offering to the churches in Jerusalem, even though they were going through a tough time of their own.

Alex Trebek: That's nice, but... Uh... Tell me something you're looking forward to?

Contestant: The church in Corinth was encouraged to follow the example of the Macedonians by taking up a collection of their own, and to give out of their own resources.

Alex Trebek: Okay, um, what do you like to do in your free time?

Contestant: Paul also warned the Corinthian church not to give out of obligation, but out of a willing heart, and promised that God would bless them for doing so.

Alex Trebek: *sighs* That's great, but what do you do in your spare time?

Contestant: So, the lesson from 2 Corinthians 8 is that we should be generous and give out of a willing heart, not out of obligation.
