1. And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing {them} rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; / 2. And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. →

Alright, moving on to Genesis 19. So two angels head to Sodom to check out reports of wickedness and corruption. When they get there, they meet Lot and he invites them in. Later, the townspeople demand Lot release the angels so they can have their wicked way with them. →

Joe: Welcome back everyone, we are here with our guest Bible Expert, and we are discussing the 19th chapter of Genesis. So, tell us a bit about this chapter. Bible Expert: Well, Joe, this chapter is the story of Lot and his family and their interaction with two angels sent by God to warn and ultimately save them from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. →

ATTENTION! Listen up! This is Genesis 19! Lot and two angels arrive in Sodom and Lot invites them to stay with him. The people of the city come to Lot's house and demand that he bring the men out so they can have their way with them. →

Batman: Holy Narrow Escape, Robin! We must thank our lucky stars that God spared us from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah! Robin: You said it, Batman! It all started when two angels came to Sodom - right after Lot had welcomed them into his home and offered them a meal. →

Listen, Jack: We got some serious trouble in Genesis 19. Lot and his family are living in the city of Sodom and Gomorrah, and they are about to get wiped off the face of the map. Two angels show up to warn Lot and his family to get out of town – and I'm not joking, c'mon man! – and the people of Sodom try to break into the house to get at the angels. →

In Genesis 19, we see some amazing and unbelievable events. Many people are saying that this is one of the most dramatic chapters in the Bible. Lot, a very terrific guy, was living in the city of Sodom. →

Peter: Alright, so Genesis 19. This is the one where God sends two angels to Sodom and Gomorrah to warn Lot and his family to flee, right? Lois: Right.
