Oh, hey there folks. This is Genesis 14, and you know what? It's a real doozy. We got some kings and armies and a lot of fighting going on. So, a bunch of kings get together and decide to fight against these two other kings. →

Joe: Alright, so what's the deal with Chapter 14 of Genesis? Bible Expert: Well, Chapter 14 is a continuation of the events that began in Chapter 13. It tells the story of the war between four kings and five kings in the region of the Jordan River. →

Alex: Ok, contestant, so tell me a little bit about yourself. Contestant: Well, I'm a big fan of the Bible, and I'd love to tell you a little bit about the book of Genesis. Alex: (Sighing) Ugh, why do I keep getting the Bible fans? Alright, go ahead. →

Attention! Listen up! Genesis 14 is all about this dude named Abram, who was living in the land of Canaan. He and his allies go to war against some other kings, and they win. Then, God appears to Abram and tells him to go to the land of the King of Sodom and get back all the stuff the other kings took. →

Batman: Holy Bible, Robin! It seems that in this chapter Abraham rescues his nephew Lot and his people from captivity. Robin: Gee, Batman, that was an incredible feat! It sounds like Abraham was quite the hero! →

Listen, Jack, here's the deal. C'mon, man! A long time ago, Abraham and his boys were out and about, minding their own business, when literally out of nowhere, four kings from the North came and took Lot, Abraham's nephew, prisoner. →

In Genesis 14, we see an amazing story of great victory! The four kings of the East, led by King Chedorlaomer, had been oppressing the people in the land of Sodom, Gomorrah, and other cities for twelve years. →

Lois: Alright, so what's happening in Genesis 14? Peter: Well, Lois, it's a bunch of kings going to war! They're fighting a bunch of other kings, and then Abraham shows up to help out with his own army. →
