Well, folks, this week on biblical update, we've got a real doozy for ya. We're in the book of Genesis, chapter 11, and boy, is it a wild one. Alex: So, what do you do for a living? Contestant: Well, I'm actually studying the Bible. Alex: (Sighs) Alright, what have you learned so far? Contestant: Well, in Genesis 11, we learn about the Tower of Babel. →

Listen up recruits! Genesis 11 is all about the Tower of Babel, a tower built by mankind to reach the heavens. God saw that the people were united in their efforts and had a common language, so he decided to scatter them across the world and confuse their language so that they would no longer be able to communicate. →

Batman: Robin, I believe our next mission is to investigate the Tower of Babel. Robin: It's said to be a wonder of the ancient world! Batman: That's right. In Genesis 11, the people of the world gathered together to build a tower to reach the heavens. →

But God, who is always watching and knows what's best for us, saw what they were trying to do and said "No way, Jose!" God knew that man's pride was getting a bit too much, so he confused their language and scattered them across the world. →
