Hey there, it's Norm MacDonald with a summary of the Bible, and this time we've got Song of Solomon 6. This chapter's all about the love between Solomon and the Shulamite woman. We've got Solomon asking a group of ladies, "Where has your beloved gone, O fairest among women?" They respond, "Where has your beloved turned aside? We will seek him with you." And then we get a description of the Shulamite woman's beauty, which is apparently so immense that it's like "a troop of horses in Pharaoh's chariots." Finally, Solomon's love is described as "better than wine," and the Shulamite woman is seen as an oasis in the desert. So yeah, it's a pretty romantic chapter. I'm Norm MacDonald, and that's the Bible.
