Well, folks, it's been a wild ride in 1 Corinthians 2. In this chapter, Paul lays out the basics of Christian wisdom, which is, of course, different than the wisdom of the world. He says that it's only through the Spirit of God that we can understand the things of God. And apparently, if we don't have the Spirit of God, the stuff of God will just seem like foolishness. So, you know, get with the program. Paul also talks about the various spiritual gifts in the church, like speaking in tongues and prophecy and knowledge. And he says that none of these gifts are to be used to show off, which, let's be honest, is pretty much everybody's go-to move. And as far as the wisdom of God goes, Paul says that it's a mystery, and only by the Spirit of God can it be understood. So, yeah, that's 1 Corinthians 2. I'm Norm MacDonald, and that's the update.
