Well, the folks in Corinth have been talking about the Resurrection, and Paul's here to set 'em straight. He says, "Hey, if there's no resurrection, then we have nothing to look forward to, and we might as well just eat, drink, and be merry." So Paul goes into this whole spiel about how Jesus was raised from the dead and how all of us will follow him in due time. He also says that our bodies won't be like the ones we have now, but will be like Jesus' glorious body. So, the moral of the story: don't forget the Resurrection, or else you're gonna die, and that's not so merry.
