Peter: Alright, so 1 Thessalonians 3. It's all about how Paul was concerned about the church in Thessalonica, so he sent Timothy to see how they were doing.

Lois: Wait, was that the one with the talking sheep?

Peter: No Lois, that was the story of the Good Shepherd.

Stewie: That was the movie The Sheep That Saved Christmas. All the sheep were wearing sweaters.

Brian: OK, so Paul sent Timothy to check up on the Thessalonians, and he was pleased to find out that they were faithful and growing in love. He was so encouraged by this that he thanked God for them and asked God to help them grow even more.

Stewie: He should've sent the Autobots. They would've taken care of any problem.

Brian: Sure Stewie, that would have been one way to go. Anyway, Paul asked God to strengthen their hearts so that they wouldn't be led astray by temptations.

Peter: Even the temptation of eating too many jelly donuts?

Lois: Peter, I don't think that was what Paul had in mind.

Brian: No, but it's a good point. He wanted them to be strong in their faith against any kind of temptation.

Stewie: Well, that's good advice. I always like to have a few jelly donuts on hand just in case.
