Listen, Jack, I'm not joking, my father used to say, "See here, Jack, the Lord is good, and his love endures forever." Or uh, you know, that's what Paul and Silas said in 1 Thessalonians 3. I mean, literally, it doesn't get any better than that. See, here's the deal, I tell you what, they were sent by the church in Antioch to strengthen and encourage the believers in Thessalonica, and here's the kicker, they were worried that persecution might make them turn away from their faith. So, Paul and Silas asked the Lord to help them and the Lord answered their prayer. C'mon, man! Not gonna happen. So, Paul and Silas were encouraged and thanked God for the Thessalonians' faith. Excuse me, what was that? My father used to say, "No malarkey!" Folks, no matter what happens, the Lord's love will endure forever. I'm not joking.
