Listen up, recruits! Chapter 5 of 2 Kings is all about Naaman, a commander of the Syrian army. Naaman has leprosy, and a young Hebrew slave girl tells him to go to the prophet Elisha in Samaria if he wants to be healed. So, Naaman goes to Elisha and finds out that he needs to bathe in the Jordan River seven times to be healed. Naaman is initially angry, but eventually he does as Elisha instructs, and he is healed! Naaman is so grateful for his healing that he offers Elisha a reward, which Elisha refuses. Naaman then converts to the Hebrew faith, and Elisha sends him off with a blessing. That's it, recruits! Now move it!
