C'mon, man! Judges 12, here's the deal. So, there was this guy named Jephthah. He was a big man in Israel, and he was a good leader for a while. But then he got into a fight with the Ephraimites. Not gonna happen, no malarkey. So, Jephthah had to get creative. He came up with this plan to have the Ephraimites say shibolet, and if they couldn't say it then they had to go home. Literally. That was his plan. And it worked! See here, Jack, the Ephraimites couldn't say shibolet, so they had to go back home. My father used to say, a good plan is better than a bad plan. I'm not joking, folks.

Anyways, then the Ephraimites got mad and started a fight. But Jephthah and his men were ready. They fought back, and won. What was that? They even captured some of the Ephraimites. Or uh, you know, they made them cross the river.

So that's the story of Judges 12. I tell you what, it's a good reminder to always be prepared for a fight. Excuse me, but even if you don't know what's gonna happen, you should always be ready. That's the end of Judges 12.
