Listen, Jack, c'mon, man! Here's the deal: no malarkey. A long time ago, when my father used to say, there was a young prophet from Judah. He was sent to Bethel to preach against the altar there, 'cause it was an altar to a false god. So, he condemned the altar and the priest who served at it. Then, the King of Israel heard about it, and he asked the prophet to stay with him. But the prophet refused, 'cause he was given instructions from God not to stay. I'm not joking. So, the King offered him a reward, and the prophet still said no. What was that? That's when a man of God showed up, and he was much older than the young prophet. He backed the young prophet up and told the King to stay away from him. So, the King got mad, and he offered the old man a reward. But, the old man said no, 'cause he was following God's instructions, too. See here, Jack, it's like this: The old man also prophesied that the King's house would not survive, 'cause of the way he was acting. So, the King was a little upset. He threatened the old man, and the old man literally fled. But, the King's man went after him and caught up with him. He gave the old man a reward, and the old man accepted it. Then, he went back to Bethel. He realized he had disobeyed God, and he died there. Or uh, you know, that's what happened. No malarkey. I tell you what, that's 1 Kings 13. Excuse me.
