Robin: Holy Bible verses, Batman! It looks like Ezra is in a bit of a pickle!

Batman: He certainly is, Robin! It seems that Ezra is in despair because the people of Israel have intermarried with the people of the land and disobeyed the Lord's commands.

Joker: Ha ha ha! This is a real family drama!

Batman: Not so fast, Joker! Ezra pleads with God to forgive his people and turns to fasting and prayer. He even takes off his robes and lies in sackcloth and ashes in repentance.

Catwoman: Oh, I'm sure the Lord was very pleased with that!

Robin: Not only did the Lord hear Ezra's prayers, but He sent a message to him through Shecaniah, one of the elders of Israel. Shecaniah told Ezra to go ahead and build the wall of Jerusalem and make sure the people of Israel keep the Lord's laws.

Riddler: Riddle me this: What else did Ezra do?

Batman: He appointed priests and Levites to lead in the rebuilding of the wall and to teach the people the laws of the Lord. He also led the people in a solemn assembly to confess their sins and to separate from the people of the land.

Joker: Well, it looks like the people of Israel are going to be in better shape after this episode!
