Batman: Time to take a look at Ezra 10, Robin!

Robin: What are we looking for, Batman?

Batman: We need to keep an eye out for any sign of our arch-nemesis, the Joker!

Robin: Oh no! What do you think he's up to this time?

Batman: I'm not sure, but it looks like Ezra 10 is about Ezra leading a prayer for the people of Israel to confess their sins and turn back to God.

Joker: You're not wrong there, Batman! I'm always up to something, and this time I'm out to corrupt the people of Israel and turn them away from God!

Batman: Not on our watch, Joker! We'll have to put a stop to your evil plan!

Robin: What should we do, Batman?

Batman: We need to get the people of Israel to come together, confess their sins and turn back to God. Let's see what Ezra does to help out!

Joker: Ha! Good luck with that, Batman! You'll never be able to stop me!

Batman: We'll see about that, Joker! Ezra calls for a gathering of the people and encourages them to confess and repent of their sins and make a covenant with God. He also sets up a system to make sure that any Israelites who had married foreign women would put away those women and any children that had come from those marriages.

Robin: Wow, Batman! That's an impressive plan!

Batman: Indeed, Robin. Ezra's plan works and the people of Israel come together in agreement to follow God's law.

Joker: Aww, you ruined my fun!

Batman: Don't worry, Joker. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to cause trouble in the future!
