Listen up, maggots! Chapter 3 of Joshua starts with y'all crossing the Jordan River. God tells Joshua and the Israelites to get ready to cross, but then God tells Joshua to pick up 12 stones from the middle of the river and carry them out when they get out of the river. Then the priests pick up the Ark of the Covenant and lead the way, and when their feet touch the water, the river stops flowing and piles up like a dam. So the Israelites cross on dry land to the other side. Then the priests put the Ark down and the people of Israel camp at Gilgal. The Lord tells Joshua to circumcise the Israelites again to show that they are part of God's covenant. And then the Lord tells Joshua to remember the Law of Moses and keep it. That's it for chapter 3, maggots! Dismissed!
