Listen up, recruits! Chapter 16 of 1 Chronicles is all about David's worship of the Lord. He gathered the people together, appointed the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and commanded them to sing praises to the Lord. Then, David wrote a song of praise to the Lord and appointed singers to lead the people in singing it. He also appointed men to lead the people in giving thanks to the Lord and to tell about his mighty acts. And David appointed some Levites to give offerings of thanks to the Lord, and to proclaim his holy name. That's it! Dismissed!
