Listen up, recruits! 1 Chronicles 12 is all about some of the kings who joined forces with David after he became king of Israel. We got the men of Issachar and Benjamin, the sons of Naphtali and Manasseh, and even some Gadites who joined the cause. There were lots of warriors, and they were all mighty men of valor. You get it? They were bad dudes! They brought with them bows and spears and shields, and they were ready for battle. We also got some of the chiefs of the tribes of Israel who were on David's side. They all came to Hebron and made a covenant with David, so he was accepted as king. The chapter ends with a list of all the men who joined forces with David. That's it, recruits. Any questions?
