Batman: Holy scripture, Robin! It's time to learn about John 1!

Robin: Holy bible, Batman! I'm ready to read up on John 1.

Batman: In John 1, we learn about the Word of God and how He was with God in the beginning and how He created everything.

Joker: Ha ha ha! That's a good one, Batman! God created everything? What a joke!

Batman: He sure did, Joker! He created the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them.

Robin: Wow! That's pretty amazing!

Catwoman: But wait a minute! What about us humans?

Batman: That's right, Catwoman! The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. He was full of grace and truth, and He revealed God to us.

Riddler: So, what was the result of this revelation?

Robin: Well, the result was that the people received Him not.

Joker: What a bummer! That must have been so disappointing for God.

Batman: It was, Joker. But He gave us another chance to receive Him. He sent John the Baptist to prepare the way for the coming of the Messiah.

Robin: And that's what we learn in John 1!
