Batman: Robin, Job 3 begins with Job in anguish and utter despair, cursing the day of his birth.

Robin: That sounds pretty bad, Batman.

Joker: I can relate!

Batman: Yes, Joker, but Job's despair is much deeper than yours. He wishes he had never been born.

Catwoman: I don't understand why he's so upset?

Batman: Job's life has been filled with suffering and sorrow, Catwoman. He believes that if he had never been born, he wouldn't have to experience this pain.

Riddler: But isn't there a silver lining?

Batman: Yes, Riddler. Job is still able to cling to his faith in God despite his sorrow. He knows that God is in control and will ultimately bring justice and peace.
