1. And it came to pass on the eighth day, {that} Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel; / 2. And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer {them} before the LORD. →

Leviticus 9 is a real hoot. Aaron officially becomes the High Priest and he's so excited that he makes a bunch of sacrifices. He also anoints the altar, blesses the people, and makes some incense. Also, he doesn't have to take a shower first. →

"Listen up! Leviticus 9 is all about sacrifices. You sacrifices have to be made to God and they have to be done right. You gotta get the right kind of animal, the right kind of oil, the right kind of flour. →

Folks, listen here, I'm gonna tell you about Leviticus 9. My father used to say, "No malarkey, Joe, this is important." So here's the deal: On the eighth day of the consecration ceremony, Aaron and his sons got all dolled up in their priestly garments and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. →

Leviticus 9 was bigly amazing! On this day, Aaron, the High Priest, was finally given the job he deserved and he was terrific at it. He offered many sacrifices to God, including burnt offerings and peace offerings. →
